Quite Great news for the club

Alice Dewey General Manager of Cambridge City FC, is pleased to announce a ground-breaking new role aligning the Football club with a one of the leading marketing agencies in the city since 1996, Quite Great, who are also a former shirt sponsor of the club.


The role will see Managing Director Pete Bassett join the marketing team of Dewey and Sean Coxon as ‘Creative Brand Development Consultant’.


‘Cambridge City FC is the oldest football club in Cambridge and it is undeniable that we have been through challenging times but the past few years have seen the club turn a huge corner ‘, explains Alice Dewey, ‘ With our move to the wonderful village of Sawston and the new stadium growing every day, ready for our teams to return for their home matches. The timing feels ideal to look at a new innovative and ground-breaking way forward, helping myself, and fellow board member Sean Coxon to look at ways to broaden creative thinking, grow even greater community relations, and to help bring our club national attention, adding even greater value to all those amazing businesses who already help sponsor and support our club.’

Quite Great’s Managing Director , Pete Bassett has worked with music legends such as The Bee Gees through to Guns ‘n’ Roses along with global brands ranging from Universal and Warners to local brands such as Stem & Glory , Cambridge RUFC and many others. The new role of ‘Creative Brand Development Consultant’ which sees his company rekindle a relationship with the club which they sponsored first team shirts for a period and helped the club to develop their relationship with the city community - when the club was based in a central location – by creating a series of innovative fundraising initiatives.
