Looking ahead to 2024/25

With the new season fast approaching and pre-season in full swing, Jamie Cureton has been busy recruiting new players, many who Jamie has played against or managed before. The lads have played three friendlies so far, which have seen all of Jamie’s new recruits along with several players from our U18s.

The squad includes:-

GK Tommy Middlehurst

Giani Ashley

Alfie Mason

Jayden Gipson

Jayden Randell

Jack Grosvenor

Alex Warman

George Smith

Jake Thompson

Joel Older

Jack Cousins

Shane Temple

Aaron Green

Ed Tassel

With three pre-season games to go, Jamie says….’ First up on the squad I am really pleased with all of the boys that have agreed to join most of them I have worked with before so we already have an understanding on and off the pitch with how I work. The players I haven’t worked with before I’ve been really pleased with they have all worked really hard so far but will still have a way to he to be ready for our first game of the season. They will be two or three more new signings in the next few weeks I am currently working on a few at the moment. In our three games I was really pleased with the first two but last Saturday wasn’t of the standards we expect as a team. So overall I’m happy but still a lot more work to put in before the new season.’

Our first competitive game of the season is the home FA Cup tie against Lakenheath, which we can now confirm will be played on Sunday 4th August, with an early kick off of 2pm. This match will be played at St Ives Town FC. As much as we want to be in our own home, we would like to thank St Ives for their continued support.

The Isthmian League fixtures for this coming season will be released today around 6pm and the season kicks off on Saturday 10th August, we are still awaiting confirmation as to where our home games will be played.

The club continues to work hard to enable us to start playing at our new stadium as soon as practically possible.
