Claridge delights at City Fundraiser

Last Friday, Cambridge City held a fantastic sportsman's dinner at the prestigious Cambridge Country Club in Bourn.

Hosted by Jezo from Jezo Events in Sawston, our guests enjoyed an auction where the main lot was a Manchester United Shirt signed by Wayne Rooney. There were also signed Cambridge City Shirts amongst the other items on offer.

The main event of the evening was a talk from local football legend Steve Claridge who regailed the guests with amusing stories and anecdotes from his time playing at Cambridge United as well as the many other clubs he has played for.

The event was a roaring success so a huge thank you goes to Alice Dewey for organising, to everyone who attended and of course the many local business that support us, including;
