City to host regional cup finals

We’re pleased to be hosting three Cambridgeshire FA cup finals at Cambridge City FC’s stadium FWD-IP Community Stadium this April. It’s a great chance to support local football and see some strong sides from across the region in action.

Wednesday 23rd April – Cliff Bullen Challenge Cup Final - 7:30 pm KO
Ely City Reserves vs Leverington Sports
admission:
£5 adults (over 16)
Ely City Reserves have had a solid campaign in the Cambs County League Premier Division, currently sitting in the top four. Leverington Sports, who play in the Peterborough & District League, have also put in some strong performances this season. Both teams will be looking to finish their season on a high, and this final should be a well-balanced encounter.

Tuesday 29th April – Invitation Cup Final
Ely City vs March Town United - 7:45pm KO
admission:
£10 adults (over 16)
£5 Concessions
Ely City and March Town United have both enjoyed good seasons and are pushing near the top of their respective leagues. Ely are currently 4th in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, while March are also in the top four of the United Counties League Premier Division South. With both teams coming into this one in decent form, it promises to be a competitive and entertaining match.
Wednesday 30th April – Women’s Invitation Cup Final
Cambridge United Women vs Histon Ladies - 7:30pm KO

£5 adults (over 16)
This year’s Women’s Invitation Cup Final sees Cambridge United’s senior side in action, a year after their U18s reached the final. They’ll be looking to go one better this time round, despite a challenging league season. Histon Ladies, meanwhile, have shown real progress after being knocked out in the semi-finals last year. Both teams will be hungry for the win and eager to finish their campaigns with some silverware.
