City Lights up for Parkinsons UK

Updated: 1 day ago

Cambridge City Football Club, in partnership with AJW Distribution, is proud to support World Parkinson’s Day by lighting up the brand-new Cambridge City Stadium in Sawston in striking blue—symbolising global solidarity for those living with Parkinson’s.

This illuminating event is made possible thanks to the generous support of local event specialists Jezo, who have kindly donated the lighting equipment for the occasion.

Members of the public are warmly invited to visit the stadium on Friday 11th April, from dusk until 9:30pm , to witness the stadium glowing in blue and stand in support of the Parkinson’s community.

In addition to Friday’s event, representatives from AJW Distribution will also be at the Cambridge City home match Vs Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday 12th April, 3pm Kick-

off armed with collection buckets to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. Anyone wishing to support this vital cause is encouraged to stop by, make a donation, or simply help spread the word.

As part of their commitment to support the charity in 2025, AJW have created a Just giving page where donations can also be made online https://www.justgiving.com/page/parkinsons2025, supporting their ongoing work in funding research and providing life-changing support to those affected by Parkinson’s.

Let’s come together as a community to raise awareness and help drive change for everyone impacted by this condition.
